From August 2008 until January 2020, David broadcasted every Tuesday on his website with his "You Never Know" Songwriter Series – featuring the story behind a song and it's performance along with other personal observations – in addition to sharing his other music videos and stellar classic poetry recitations ("The Rime of The Ancient Mariner" in seven parts!) on YouTube.

Originally launched in 2008 as “Hear and Now” on Ustream with a longer format including skits, the show was briefly renamed “Fireside Chat with David Olney” before evolving in to the current “You Never Know”.  There are more than 400 of these short streamcasts online. This is the final episode.
